CHRIS MCNEIL
Chris started his theatrical
career as Marshall Herrick in Arthur Miller’s Crucible. It was
during this performance, aged fifteen, that he quickly realised his true
vocation lay off the stage, and preferably behind it...
So started more
years than he cares to remember painting sets, hanging lights (balanced
on the top of dodgy bits of scenery) and rigging sound equipment with
random highlights working with Genesis and the Bournemouth Symphony
Orchestra.
Chris has for the last
fifteen years been operating live sound for a mixture of Folk bands, Rock
bands, Covers bands, solo artists, string quartets, rugby tournaments, and
theatre productions such as Godspell and Joseph and The Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat.
More recently Chris has
toured as Sound Engineer and Production Manager with A Night at the
Musicals, Sound Engineer with Mad About Musicals in 2007,
Sound Engineer for Mad About Pantomimes in Jack and the Beanstalk
and Beauty and the Beast, Sound Engineer for Independent Ballet
Wales and Company Manager and Sound Engineer for The Eva Cassidy Story.
Just to fill in the
gaps he also runs a recording studio in Lincoln! Chris
is delighted to be working with Mad About again and looks forward to
an exciting tour and re establishing his relationships with the
service station staff of Great Britain!
